-Studied under Lewis Hine.
-Began to focus on photography with reality.
-Discovered art and politics, later leading him to focus on progressive causes from decade to decade.
- Later moved to Europe
-Began capturing photos of impoverished countries.
-Also included farmers and villagers in Mexico & other places.
